Diana Stout, MFA, Ph.D. is a screenwriter, author, who thoroughly enjoys having returned to writing full-time, publishing her scripts, novels, and other writings through her production company, Sharpened Pencils Productions LLC. Her writing career began with a weekly newspaper column that began as a six-month test and ran for five years. From there, she wrote magazine articles and short stories. That was followed with romance books, publishing three. Then, she turned to screenwriting and was working with Hollywood producers who wanted to see anything and everything she was writing. Unfortunately, a life-turning event put a halt to her creative writing for fifteen years.
She returned to school to obtain degrees that would allow her to combine her love of writing with earning a living; she became an English professor, teaching others how to become better writers. Her students told her that she smiled when she talked about writing.
Along the way, she discovered she had various intuitive abilities. She shares her experiences, showing how she discovered her abilities along the way in her blog, Into the Core: One Woman’s Mystic Journey.
